Jerusalem – August 8, 2025 — The Iranian regime has once again shown the world its true face — a government that silences its people through fear, executions, and terror. In recent weeks, Tehran has increased its brutality, even targeting children and young activists.

The latest victim, Roozbeh Vadi, was executed after being accused of having links to Israel’s Mossad. His death is part of a growing wave of state killings since the June 13 conflict between Israel and Iran-backed terror groups began.

Iran has also executed:

  • Mohammad-Amin Mahdavi Shayesteh – July

  • Majid Mosayebi – July

  • Three Kurdish men – June, accused of involvement in the 2020 assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh

These executions, carried out often without fair trials or transparent evidence, form part of a wider strategy to crush dissent inside Iran.

According to Iran Human Rights, at least 612 people were executed between January and June 2025 — a shocking 119% increase compared to the same period in 2024, when 279 executions were recorded.

Human rights experts warn that Tehran is using “espionage” accusations as a weapon to eliminate political opponents, silence journalists, and instill fear in every corner of Iranian society.

For Israel, these executions are not only a human rights tragedy — they are proof of the danger the Iranian regime poses to the entire region. This is the same government that funds Hamas and Hezbollah, sends weapons to Syria and Yemen, and works day and night to destabilize the Middle East.

The Iranian people, especially the young generation, want freedom, democracy, and peace with the world. Instead, they face torture, executions, and a future stolen by extremists.

If the international community truly cares about human rights, it must speak out against Tehran’s crimes — and act. Israel will continue to expose the regime’s brutality and support the voices of freedom inside Iran.
