On Wednesday, Abdollah Ganji, a senior figure in Iran and former editor of the Revolutionary Guard-backed newspaper Javan, posted a strange message to his 150,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter). He claimed that a “strange phenomenon” occurred during the war and that papers with mystical symbols linked to Judaism were allegedly found in Tehran.
“After the war, several pieces of paper with talismans and Jewish signs were seen on the streets,” Ganji wrote. “Even in earlier conflicts, there were rumors of Netanyahu meeting occult experts.”
This is not the first time Iranian leaders have made similar claims. Iran’s Supreme Leader has previously accused Israel and Western countries of using dark arts and jinn for espionage.
What’s Really Behind the Accusation?
While these claims may sound strange or even laughable, experts warn that Israel must take this rhetoric very seriously. These types of statements are not about religion or superstition—they are tools of psychological warfare used by the Iranian regime.
According to IsraelDaily sources in defense and intelligence, this bizarre narrative is being pushed to recruit young, uneducated, and vulnerable Iranians into suicide missions against Israel. By painting Israel as an evil, supernatural enemy, the regime in Tehran is attempting to brainwash youth into carrying out terror attacks in the name of religion and resistance.
“They’re not just spreading nonsense. They’re preparing the next wave of radicalized fighters,” an Israeli security analyst told IsraelDaily. “This kind of messaging helps justify martyrdom in the eyes of those who are easily manipulated.”
Why Israel Must Stay Alert
Israeli officials say such propaganda from Tehran is not just laughable—it’s dangerous. The regime is looking for ways to stir public emotions, distract from internal problems, and strengthen its control by pushing conspiracy theories.
More importantly, this is a warning sign. Iran’s government is trying to mobilize a new generation of extremists who are willing to die for a cause they don’t fully understand—fueled by lies, hatred, and mysticism.
Conclusion:
This isn’t about magic—it’s about manipulation. The Iranian regime is using fear, fake religious beliefs, and psychological tricks to fuel violence. Israel must continue to monitor these messages closely. While Tehran talks about spirits and spells, Israel must focus on facts, defense, and the protection of innocent lives.
