Humanitarian Aid Report – August 28

On August 28, Israel continued its extensive humanitarian efforts to provide vital assistance to the civilian population of Gaza. Despite ongoing challenges, we remain committed to ensuring that food, medical supplies, and other essentials reach those in need.

Key Achievements on August 28:

Close to 290 humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza through the Kerem Shalom and Zikim crossings, carrying food, medicine, and other life-saving supplies.

Close to 310 trucks were collected and distributed by the United Nations and international organizations.

humanitarian personnel rotation was successfully coordinated and completed, ensuring that aid workers can continue their critical mission.

In addition, hundreds of aid trucks remain ready for collection on the Gazan side of the crossings. These supplies are available for immediate distribution to the civilian population.

Unfortunately, despite Israel’s ongoing humanitarian commitment, Hamas continues to seize and steal humanitarian supplies by force. Instead of allowing food and medicine to reach families, Hamas diverts aid for its own purposes—leaving ordinary civilians in Gaza deprived of the assistance intended for them.

We call on the international community to hold Hamas accountable for obstructing aid and exploiting the civilian population, while we work tirelessly to ensure that humanitarian supplies reach those who need them most.
