Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian told Al Jazeera that the Iranian regime is preparing for renewed nuclear activity, dismissing claims of the program’s destruction as "imaginary."
“We are ready for any military confrontation with Israel,” said Pezeshkian. “Iranian forces can strike deep inside Israel, and we continue enriching uranium. Our nuclear capabilities live in the minds of our scientists.”
He admitted Iran suffered a blow from Israel but claimed Iran inflicted damage that Israel refuses to disclose. He further described the ceasefire call as a “clear sign of Iran’s missile victory.”
Pezeshkian acknowledged cyberattacks but stated Iran leveraged U.S. technology and vowed never to surrender. He insisted future talks with the U.S. must be on equal terms.
“Trump’s claims of destroying our nuclear program are pure imagination,” he added, hinting that Tehran’s rebuilding efforts may resume imminently.
