Tel Aviv – While Israel has been watching Iran's moves in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza, many experts now warn that another serious threat is growing — this time from Iranian-backed armed groups inside Iraq.

These groups, often called militias, work closely with Iran’s military and follow its orders. They have been growing stronger in recent years and could be used by Iran to attack Israeli interests in the region.

Some of the most known militias include Kataib Hezbollah, Asaib Ahl al-Haq, and many more have support from Iran and are loyal to the Iranian regime, not the Iraqi government. They are heavily armed and have experience fighting in both Iraq and Iran.

According to the Israel Daily, “These militias are not just a local problem. They can easily attack Israeli targets or our allies. This threat must be taking seriously before it’s too late.”
