This new notice continues the earlier rule that stops Indian planes from flying through Pakistani airspace. The ban first started on April twenty-fourth after India made a disputed decision to stop following the Indus Waters Treaty, which had been signed by both countries in the past.
The notice clearly says that no Indian-registered planes can fly over or pass through Pakistan. This includes both passenger and military planes, whether they are owned by Indian companies or leased from somewhere else.
Pakistan says the restriction will stay until they decide otherwise. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Because of this ban, Indian airlines are facing high costs. Some have to stop in other countries to refuel, which makes flights longer and more expensive. Air India, the main Indian airline, has said it could lose a large amount of money if the airspace stays closed. The company has already asked the Indian government for financial help to cover the extra costs.
