Jerusalem — In a powerful contradiction to claims that Gaza is facing Israeli-induced starvation, Iraq has delivered 65,000 tons of food aid to Gaza this week alone, according to regional logistics data and international aid monitoring agencies.

  What Does 65,000 Tons Mean?

Each day, 2 million people in Gaza require about 4,000 tons of food to meet basic humanitarian standards. That means:

65,000 tons = over 16 days of full food supply for the entire population of Gaza.

And this is only from Iraq — it does not include the hundreds of aid trucks entering Gaza daily from Israel, Egypt, and international agencies.

Despite this massive flow of food, Iranian and Qatari media outlets continue to spread false claims that Israel is blocking food to Gaza and “starving the population.” The facts tell a different story.

“It’s not a food shortage — it’s a distribution problem caused by Hamas stockpiling supplies and controlling aid access,” an Israeli official said.

Footage from Gaza has repeatedly shown Hamas forces hoarding warehouses full of flour, rice, and canned goods, while civilians wait in long lines.

Israel: Not the Problem, Still the Target

Israel continues to facilitate and monitor aid deliveries, even during wartime, prioritizing humanitarian corridors in coordination with the UN and Red Crescent. Claims of deliberate starvation are false, politically motivated, and intended to delegitimize the Israeli state.

The numbers do not lie. Lies may travel fast, but 65,000 tons of food in one week speaks louder.
